Many thanks to everyone who joined us at the Whisky in Hollywood on Monday night! It was a great show and the VIPs were loving it... Next show is December 5th at the Malibu Inn!

Take an MC, a soul singer/producer and add a melting pot of musicians... the result is a group with the ability to cross genres and transition from one style to another seamlessly. With a strong rhythm section that allows the guitar to shine and provide a solid foundation for the lyrics, Midnite Theory creates stories with their music that are real and easy to relate to.

In Late 2006 the groups' MC 'Nash the Kid' came together with producer/friend 'Jeremy (Hi-Tops) Hanlon' to create a live band to show off their unique brand of music. After getting Nash's brother 'Danny (Drop-D) Shaw' on board to play guitar and finding local drum legend Kristafari along with bassist Matt Lieberman at 4bros Studio in Westlake Village, CA the band began writing and creating their new sound. Shows soon followed and the band has spent the last year and a half building a strong west coast following. They have also gained a reputation for putting on an exciting live show with a California vibe. The sound Midnite Theory creates has allowed them to share the stage with an array of artists including Unwritten Law, Shwayze, The Living Legends, Twista, Hyper Crush and LMFAO. It has also givin them the distinct honor of being the first Hip Hop act ever booked at the Ventura County Fair. In the last few months Midnite Theory has sold out the Whiskey-a-Go-Go and played in front of 300+ people at the world famous Troubadour. The band has also begun opening Wednesday night rehearsals at 4bros Studio which draw 100-200 people on a regular basis.

Midnite Theory recently added singer/songwriter 'Leilani' on vocals who has brought the sound to a whole new level. The band is continuing to tour up and down the California coast winning legions of new fans in every city. After releasing a handful of singles through myspace and other online music sites the band has begun working on their debut album with Producer J.T. Meskiel (Puddle Of Mudd, Sparta) at the Document Room (Rick Rubin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica) in Malibu, CA. Look for Midnite Theory's debut album and their new video for 'People' soon.
